already started scanning. this is probably my favorite page in the whole comic, where bowman travels into the city. the dialog of “i cant believe this shithole” and “blech! that smell!” is based after my own thoughts of walking the streets of south philly.
some pre-existing characters that make an appearance are :
man-thing, crimson skull, kid space-heater, lizard king, quotidian, hobo wedding box brown, deal with it dog, black santa, a darin shuler mouse, splinter

the initial idea was that me and ian harker were going to do a split comic that was all one panel per page, based after 90’s nintendo and sega beat ‘em up side scroller games (streets of rage, punisher, double dragon, contra etc.), and in color.
ian ran out of steam and couldnt color his in time for the printers i was using for the color pages so we have ‘sister’ comics, his being titled urban fight featuring larry bird and michael jordan.
notes:
bare knuckle was the original japanese title of ‘streets of rage’ on sega
a ultimate warrior-esque bad guy was in streets of rage, hence me using him as the main character in this
i literally played original sega and beat streets of rage in the 2 weeks it took me to draw this comic.
this never sold THAT well. people would always comment how they love the cover but wouldnt buy the book, there are less then 10 copies available and after that im never gonna reprint it again! BUY HERE NOW!

had an awesome time yesterday at the rub the blood art show, its up all month at brave new worlds in olde city philadelphia.
before the art show me, josh, heather, and tom all hung out at my studio and drew and got burritos. epic times.
